Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Crime Incorporated website and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Crime Incorporated ("Crime Inc", "we", "us") operates from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
2. Eligibility
- You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
- You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
3. Accounts, access levels, and PINs
Certain areas of the Service require an account. Access may be role-based (e.g., seller, moderator, administrator) and may change over time.
Listings may be accessible only via a PIN. A PIN is an access key that may unlock specific listings only. You are responsible for safeguarding any PINs provided to you.
4. Listings and requests
- Listings are created and maintained by sellers. Sellers are responsible for accuracy, legality, and compliance.
- When a user submits a Request on a listing, we may notify staff and the seller that interest was received.
- To support our transaction model, the public listing experience may not disclose seller contact information. Communication may be coordinated by Crime Inc staff.
5. Transactions and middle‑man model
Crime Inc may facilitate introductions and coordinate communications between buyers and sellers. Unless otherwise stated for a particular transaction, Crime Inc is not a payment processor, escrow provider, or financial institution, and does not guarantee payments, deliveries, or outcomes.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not post, request, promote, or attempt to transact in any prohibited items or services. See the Prohibited Items & Conduct page for examples. We may remove content, suspend access, or report activity when required.
7. Moderation and changes
We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, modify, suspend, or remove listings and accounts to protect users, comply with law, and maintain quality. Sellers may be required to obtain approval before changes go live.
8. Intellectual property
The Service and its branding are owned by Crime Inc. Sellers retain rights to their own content, but grant Crime Inc a license to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error‑free, or that listings will be accurate, lawful, safe, or suitable for any purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crime Inc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
